Dr. Stephen Hirt grew up in Akron, Ohio. He came to Columbus to pursue his schooling at The Ohio State University. After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts, Dr. Hirt continued his education at the College of Optometry at Ohio State and graduated in 1994, with his Doctor of Optometry degree.

Following graduation, Dr. Hirt acquired experience in private practice optometry, as well as hospital-based optometry in Detroit, Michigan. Upon his return to Columbus, Ohio in 1998, Dr. Hirt founded Columbus Vision Associates, Inc.

Dr. Hirt currently resides in Lewis Center, Ohio.
